Is there a time limit for the submission of the petition to the Council?

The normal period within which the petition may be submitted to the Council is two months as of the notification of the individual administrative decision or its implementation or as of the date of publication of the regulatory decision concerning one or several individuals mentioned by name.

The law, however, has fixed shorter or longer periods in specific cases: fifteen days to contest the local elections results; thirty days to contest the disciplinary decisions; six months to file an opposition against the decision fixing the retirement pension of the employee put on retirement; one year to challenge the decision fixing the indemnity for the acquired rights on water in the public domain.
