How are the Council’s decisions enforced?

If the decision is rendered against the administrative authority, the request for enforcement is submitted to the President of the State Consultative Council who refers it, together with the first authentic copy of the judgment, to the competent authority (ministry, public institution, municipality…) for enforcement.

In case the decision is rendered against the individuals, the request for enforcement is submitted to the Beirut Execution Bureau which shall provide for its enforcement in accordance with the rules of civil procedures. Should the law allow the enforcement of such decisions administratively, the enforcement shall take place according to the stated mechanism.
